TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CitizenApp-Jobs
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ghana Jobs Service (“Ghana Jobs”) available from Jobs.gov.gh, and provided by Digital Jobs Service Limited, hereinafter referred to as "Company” or "We”, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
By using the service, you can post job vacancies in your organization, access the national talent pool across industries, manage your hiring process, onboard successful candidates, and manage your payroll. The features that are available from the service would be updated from time to time. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
“Personal data” means any information relating to an individual person, which allow identification of an individual person directly or indirectly from that data. Examples are name, address, telephone number, email address, identification number, location data and other online identifiers.
2. Changes of Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.
3. Registration and Account Security
a. To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update this information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
b. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
4. Making Payment
Payments using our Platform shall be done by redirecting you to Ghana.Gov platform and using the methods provided on that website. The payment methods include mobile money, debit/credit card, and bank transfer payments.
5. User Conduct
a. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations.
b. You will not engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings.
- Posting discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate content.
- Harassing, stalking, or threatening other users.
- Using the Service for any commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
- Impersonating any person or entity or falsely claiming an affiliation with any person or entity.
6. Job Listings
We use best effort to ensure all job listings on our service are posted by verified employers. However;
a. Employers and job posters are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job listings. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of job listings posted on our service.
b. Job seekers are responsible for verifying the legitimacy and suitability of job listings and employers.
7. Privacy Policy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process your personal data, we will either securely destroy, erase, delete or anonymise it, or if this is not possible (for example, because your personal data has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal data and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service, with or without cause and without notice, in our sole discretion.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Website.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
